Users of the Q7 Wearables app may have received a notification asking them to uninstall their current app and switch to the Da Fit app. The reason is that older apps will no longer receive improvements and bug fixes. The Da Fit app will continue to receive feature enhancements, stability improvements and bug fixes to ensure a fantastic user experience. Older apps will be removed from the app store so we urge all users to update as soon as possible to avoid disruption of service.
*Note: this does not apply to users of the Q7 Sport Smartwatch app
TO SWITCH APPS, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Open current app on your phone and disconnect (will unpair watch from phone and app)
- Uninstall (delete) the Q7 Wearables app
- Open Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget / unpair your watch (Android users: the disconnection step may have already removed the watch from Bluetooth for you)
- Download and install our new app from your app store (CLICK HERE)
- Open the Da Fit app and create/complete your profile (first launch).
- Accept permission and pairing requests.
- Tap "Add" to scan nearby devices and you should see your Q7 Wearables watch. Tap to select.
(note: historical activity data will not transfer to the new app but it is necessary in order to provide the best user experience)
